This work was not created as a narrative, but as a sign. A seal that does not seek attention or admiration, but confirms a position. It marks a boundary — a moment in which something is closed, and at the same time accepted as it is.
The circle defines a space. It protects and separates, not as a defense, but as a conscious decision. Within it appears a form that cannot be precisely named. It resembles a flame, a leaf, a blade, or a symbol. It stands upright, focused, self-contained. It does not ask to be seen. It simply holds its ground.
The painting works with restraint and a limited palette. There is no gesture meant to persuade. Instead, there is pride — not born of victory, but of endurance. The kind of pride that comes from standing firm without the need to explain, justify, or apologize.
Le Sceau is neither an answer nor a triumph. It is a confirmation of integrity. A mark that something has been carried, accepted, and closed with respect toward oneself. And that within this quiet resolve lies strength.
